Caroline Trudeau from SolutionCondo leads a training on mixed-use condominium management with BOMA Québec

Mixed-use developments are on the rise, combining residential units, commercial spaces, offices, and common areas within the same building. While this mix offers numerous advantages in space optimization and urban vibrancy, it also presents significant challenges for condominium associations, property managers, and boards of directors.

To better understand and navigate these complexities, Caroline Trudeau, Senior Director at SolutionCondo and a member of BOMA Québec’s Building Management Committee, will be leading a training session on managing mixed-use condominiums. This session will take place on March 26 at Le Gèsu – Espace Custeau, as part of BOMA Québec’s activities.

Why a training on mixed-use condominiums?

Mixed-use condominiums bring together various types of occupants, each with potentially differing interests. Who makes the decisions? How can governance be balanced? What are the rules for splitting condominium fees? These are crucial questions that require specialized expertise to prevent conflicts and misunderstandings between co-owners and tenants.

During this session, Caroline Trudeau will clarify key issues related to these complex properties, covering topics such as:

  • How mixed-use condominium associations function and are governed
  • Specific challenges and practical solutions
  • Decision-making processes and responsibility distribution
  • Budget management and cost allocation
  • Best practices for ensuring harmonious cohabitation

With her hands-on experience and expertise in property management, Caroline Trudeau will provide participants with concrete, actionable solutions to improve the administration of their mixed-use condominiums.

A must-attend event for real estate professionals

This training, organized by BOMA Québec’s Building Management Committee, is designed for property managers, owners, and board members who must navigate the complexities of mixed-use environments.

Why attend?

  • Gain a deeper understanding of mixed-use condominiums
  • Prevent conflicts and optimize the management of shared spaces
  • Leave with practical tools for effective governance
  • Network with industry professionals, exchange ideas, and find real-world solutions
