Several initiatives to “green up” our boroughs, terraces, alleys, balconies or flower beds have been announced in several Montreal boroughs.
Did you know that?
For several years now, many boroughs in the City of Montreal distribute each spring flowers and plants for free to citizens.
Citizens are invited to come and get yearly flowers and perennials, vegetable plants, mulch or compost to embellish their garden, balcony or flower bed.
These items are free with a valid proof of residence.
This year’s distribution schedule has just been published. You can check on the City of Montreal’s website for distribution dates and locations in your borough, or contact your borough hall directly.
Distribution usually takes place towards the end of May.
Take advantage of these initiatives to improve the landscaping of your Co-ownership at a lower cost and beautify your living environments! Happy gardening!
